L2 Pearl is a low-rate Interlude server. Levelling is meant to take time,
gear is meant to be earned, and a C-grade weapon should still mean something
a month in. Nothing here is inflated to look generous on a server list.
What we did borrow from mid-rate servers are the parts that remove dead time
rather than remove the game: an NPC buffer for the early levels, auto loot,
offline shops, and daily objectives that give you something to do when you
only have an hour. Everything that decides who wins a fight is retail.
The files are ours and the client is a clean Interlude with the Pearl patch on
top — no custom skills, no invented grades, no power creep sold in a shop.

Retail chance
Equipment and epics stay at x1. Levelling and adena
are quicker than retail, but the things that decide a fight — finished
gear and epic jewels — drop at retail chance. Materials and recipes sit
at x2 so crafting stays a real way to get geared rather than a formality.

Buffs & Shop
Buffs
NPC Buffer — to level 20
Normal buffs only, one hour each, and only while you are under level 20.
It carries you through the starting zones; after that, support comes from
real players.
Dances, Songs & Chants
Retail like — retail duration, from a real Sword Singer, Bladedancer
or Overlord. The buffer does not hand them out.
Buff Slots
24 slots, plus 12 more reserved for songs and dances.
Shop & Consumables
GM Shop — up to D grade
Gear and consumables up to D grade, nothing above it. C grade onwards is
dropped, spoiled, crafted or traded.
Mana Potions — from Events only
One minute reuse, and they are not for sale. You get them by taking part in
events, which keeps mana an actual resource.
Support classes matter here. The buffer stops at level 20 and
songs and dances never come from it, so a party with a real Prophet, SWS or BD is
genuinely stronger than one without — the way Interlude was built.

Events & PvP
Automated Events
TvT, Deathmatch & Capture the Flag
Running on a schedule through the day, open from level 20 so you do not have
to be end-game to join one.
Glittering Medals
Every event pays out medals. Take them to the Special NPC and trade them for
rewards — event time is never wasted time.
Competitive
Olympiad
Runs on its own cycle with a hero crowned at the end of every period.
Nobless is the entry ticket.
Castle Sieges
Weekly, on the retail schedule. Holding a castle means holding the taxes and
the clan hall that comes with it.
Opening Timeline
The world does not arrive all at once. Catacombs, Mammon and
the Olympiad stay shut on opening day and come online on a fixed schedule, so the
early race is fought on level ground and nobody is farming end-game services in
week one.
9 October
Grand Opening. Catacombs, Mammon and the
Olympiad are closed.
12 October, 18:00
Seven Signs begins. Catacombs and Necropolises open.
19 October, 18:00
First Seal Validation and Mammon's first appearance.
The Olympiad opens.
23 October
Mammon's A-grade services unlock.
24–25 October
First siege weekend — two full weeks
after opening.
2 November
The first Heroes are crowned. Mammon appears for the
second time.
6 November
Mammon's S-grade services unlock.
The first siege is Sunday 25 October, for Gludio Castle.
Two weeks of preparation, then the first crown on the map is decided.
Quests & Rewards
Daily, Weekly & Monthly Quests
A fresh set on every cycle, with rewards that scale the longer you keep at
them. Short ones for a quiet evening, long ones worth planning around.
Attendance Rewards
A 30-day rotation you claim once a day. The streak is what pays — the
later days are worth considerably more than the first.
Protection & Staff
Active Anti-Cheat
Custom protection running against bots, packet editing and speed hacks, with
GMs watching on top of it. On a low-rate server an unpunished bot ruins the
economy for everyone.
No Pay-to-Win
Donations cover the machine and the files, not the ladder. Nothing above
D grade is sold, and nothing you can buy replaces playing.
Staff You Can Reach
Tickets and reports go through Discord and get answered by people who play
here. Rule changes are announced before they happen, not after.
Rates and mechanics can still be adjusted around launch if something turns out
broken in practice. Anything that changes is announced on Discord and in the News
section first — see the Server Rules.
